Elon Musk Makes an Offer To Toyota To Join a Coalition

Tesla CEO Elon Musk replied to a tweet making Toyota an offer to join the Tesla-led coalition.

In this news video, I talk about Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, and his offer to Toyota.

Elon Musk thinks that Toyota should join a group of car brands called the NACS coalition. This group recently decided to use a special plug for their electric cars, which was designed by Tesla. By joining this group, Toyota would also get access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, which has a lot of charging locations all over North America. This network is known for being very reliable and almost never having any problems.

Other car companies might also decide to join this group soon. However, it’s important to know that the NACS plug is not yet a standard that is recognized by the organization in charge of electric transportation.

Elon Musk made this suggestion to Toyota after reading an article that said their electric car, the bZ4X, had a slow charging experience. He thinks joining the NACS coalition would be a good idea for Toyota. If you want to know more about this and what Toyota might do, keep watching this video!
