Elon Musk, the visionary CEO of SpaceX, has just revealed when we can expect to see the second Starship launch.
He tweeted “6 to 8 weeks” in reply to a fan who asked him about the launch date.
This is a clear and confident answer that shows he is ready to take Starship to the next level.

Surely, we all still remember the explosion of the Starship during its first launch. However, it was not a failure for SpaceX, as the successful liftoff from the launch pad was a significant achievement.
The primary objective of the flight was to gather as much data as possible to improve the prototypes, and that was precisely what happened, as the rocket was able to take off in the end.
And given Musk’s history of making bold statements, he set a timeframe for the next launch about two months after the first explosion.
“Major launchpad upgrades should be complete in about a month, then another month of rocket testing on the pad, then flight 2 of Starship,” he said on May 26.
