Welcome to Tesla Car World!
While Formula 1 driver Max Emilian Verstappen took the top spot in the Formula 1 race at the US Grand Prix, right at this venue, the South African-American driver, Elon Musk appeared on a strange electric pickup truck called Cybertruck. This attracted the attention of all the spectators around the race.
In addition, some of the latest updates on Cybertruck’s recent impressive tests and notable accessory updates revolve around the potential electric vehicle market.

During a weekend that revolved around luxury cars, a parked pickup truck created some buzz of its own. The Tesla Cybertruck was spotted in the parking lot at the Formula 1 Lenovo US Grand Prix in Austin.
Elon Musk and his beloved son, X, have been confirmed to be sitting in the Mercedes-Benz control room, monitoring the race. Eventually, the race concluded with the lead position held by Dutch racer Max Verstappen after an impressive chase.
Initially, we could see the Cybertruck lurking behind the racecourse barriers, much like the way new supercars are unveiled or prepped for release at exclusive positions in professional sports events, such as soccer or American football.
In this context, Tesla has typically relied on word-of-mouth advertising and Musk’s social media presence, with the CEO announcing in May that his company would start using paid advertising for the first time.
One thing that has changed for Tesla is the increasing competition from existing car manufacturers, all allocating a significant portion of their advertising budgets to electric vehicles, even for models not yet on the market. This growing competition, coupled with rising interest rates, has led to multiple price reductions for Tesla in 2023. These price cuts have affected Tesla’s profit margins, although they still remain higher than traditional automakers.
Furthermore, Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter may have altered his perspective on the value of advertising. The X platform previously generated over 90% of its revenue from advertising before Musk bought it.
