Elon Musk’s SpaceX Sparks Alarm in China!

China has set a goal to become the main space power in the world by the year 2045. However, SpaceX is a big threat to China. But, do you think SpaceX will allow it? Likewise, in the midst of China’s efforts to land on the moon, the United States issues a warning about the possibility of combat in space. Stay tuned, as we are going to give you the latest updates on the space race.

In response to Elon Musk’s Space X, Chinese officials have stated that the company poses a “unprecedented challenge” to their goal of becoming a space power by the year 2045.

China’s space ambition is being impacted, and the state space contractor China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) is “obviously lagging behind,” according to China Space News, which is officially owned by the state.

The mission of SpaceX, which was established by Elon Musk in 2002, is to reduce the costs of launch and to make space travel more competitively priced.

The company that Musk founded was described as “the leader in revolutionizing and reshaping the global space industry” in the report.

It proceeded by stating that China’s program was the driving force behind SpaceX: “In a number of ways, including its development philosophy, research and production models, core rocket technologies, and economic performances.”

In addition, it stated that “[CASC] is large, but it is not powerful or prominent enough.”

Any worker in the space industry should be “soberly aware” of the circumstances, overcome “complacency and blind arrogance,” and put in more effort, as stated in the report. The technological differences with SpaceX continue to widen.

The editorial on China Space News reaffirmed the timeframe for the authorities’ next priorities, which include the landing of the first Chinese astronauts on the moon and the return of rock samples from Mars, both of which are supposed to take place no later than the year 2030.

However, the competition between China and Musk’s SpaceX has moved to a new zone: the lower earth orbit.

The Chinese are ramping up their competition with Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites.

In low-Earth orbit (LEO), a region within 2,000 kilometers of the planet’s surface that is becoming increasingly attractive for companies like SpaceX offering high-speed internet access, China lags behind the world’s richest man, despite accomplishing major victories like landing on Mars and operating its own space station.

China’s ambitious intentions to establish a state-owned constellation of 13,000 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) have made little headway, in contrast to SpaceX’s deployment of over 5,000 communications satellites at an altitude of about 550 kilometers.

On the other hand, very low-Earth orbit (VLEO) is a subset of LEO that China is aiming to dominate. Musk and others have so far avoided the area within 450 km of the Earth’s surface because, among other reasons, it is more difficult to prevent satellites from being pulled back to Earth by gravity and more satellites are required to cover the same area of land.
