Tesla CEO Elon Musk to Meet PM Modi, Announce Investment Plans in India
Elon Musk has announced plans to visit India to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to reports, Musk is expected to unveil investment and factory plans during his visit. Musk via a post on X, said he is looking forward to meeting PM Modi in India. The meeting with Modi is scheduled for the week of April 22 in New Delhi. Musk will also announce his plans for India separately. He will be accompanied by other Tesla executives during his visit. This follows their last meeting in New York in June. Tesla has been lobbying India to reduce import taxes on electric vehicles as it considers setting up a factory in the country.
