SpaceX Big Update On Starship Launch 4! Leak Starliner ‘Go” For Launch…
Back a bit to fly stronger!
After the impressive tests, SpaceX just de-stacked Starship for final preparations. In contrast, Starliner CFT-1 is very close, with preparations ramped up strongly and almost completed, ready to launch.
So, today’s episode of Great SpaceX will be a recap of everything before we enter an exciting June.
SpaceX Big Update On Starship Launch 4! Leak Starliner ‘Go” For Launch…v
After an extremely exciting May 28 with Wet Dress Rehearsal and Water Deluge system tests, SpaceX has officially completed all testing with Flight 4 hardware. On May 29, SpaceX confirmed: “Starship and Super Heavy loaded with more than 10 million pounds of propellant in a rehearsal ahead of Flight 4”.
Previously, I also predicted that S29 would be de-stacked again and it came true.

At noon on May 29, specifically around 11:03 a.m., the de-stack process began. After the Ship QD retracted from the Ship, the Chopstick, which had been closed to hold the Ship since the afternoon of May 28, lifted, then rotated and slowly lowered S29 next to the OLM. The whole process lasted about 30 minutes. At about 19:38 on the same day, S29 moved away from Chopstick and stood on the other side of the launch tower, opposite OLM.
This is the second de-stack of Flight 4 hardware. It was first de-stacked on May 21 after the first Wet Dress Rehearsal to add a heat shield to S29. As for the recent de-stack, a lot of preparation activities will take place, and it has even begun.
