Bastrop, Texas is the fast growing center of the Elon Musk economy with facilities for The Boring Company, the new X Trust & Safety Center and now the Headquarters too with the shut down of their San Francisco offices, and the SpaceX Starlink production facility, which itself is more than doubling in size!
I have been covering this site for over 2 years, back when there was little more than a small tent, a chain link fence, a small but busy road and a lot of mud, and I can tell you the changes over that period of time have been truly astounding!
