Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and in 2025, the Next Generation Car(s), Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!
Huge news coming out of the Shareholders meeting confirms the large land clearing on the east side is in preparation for a new 10 million/year Optimus Robot production facility in conjunction with the Riverfront Eco Park project.
This will take all of 2026 to complete, with the goal to begin production of the Optimus 4 Humanoid Robot beginning in 2027. Phase 1 of the plan is a 1 million/year assembly line at Fremont in 2026, with this new project 10X larger in 2027.

In the video introduction, I go into detail about the new Optimus Robot production facility, the rationale, and the connection between the Giga Texas Riverfront Ecological Park project and the new stand-alone factory. This is the start of perhaps the biggest product launch in history, certainly in the history of Tesla and could dwarf the revenue from all other product Tesla offers.
A few other highlights from today include several areas of progress at the electrical switchyard including installing equipment onto the huge transformer, including the oil cooling tank, V-type circuit breakers, more steel assembly & footing construction & more materials delivered. Conduit work on the south end continues and is part of the electrical connection to the new Cortex 2 facility.
Cortex 2 work also continues making fast progress, with the last of the concrete pours in the west hallway, more screw-type piers for the now confirmed chiller plant along the west side of the facility. On the east side, more auger and Geopier work, excavations, rebar cage assembly and interior work including ramps and other structures.
The east side clearing for the new factory has grown again and is now encroaching into the current recycling yard and pipe fabrication workshop area. Along the River Road extension, more steel corrugated pipes have been laid out along with more trenching for electrical conduit.
I also tour around most of where the Riverfront Ecological Park which is connected and related to the new factory for the Optimus Robot.
