Elon Musk EMBARRASSED NASA With SpaceX’s High-Tech Space Suit
In February 2015, SpaceX began working on a space suit for astronauts to wear inside the Dragon 2 space capsule. Whether it is science fiction or a science fact, the spacesuit has always been the main attraction. The excitement and inspiration we get when seeing astronauts in improved spacesuits are well documented.
Space suits have never been considered the epitome of style. The microwavable popcorn bag shapes are unflattering and don’t even get me started on the helmets and boots. However, if Elon Musk and a few other male billionaires aiming for the stars successfully transform traditional space clothing, the fate of extraterrestrial fashion will look more like James Bond than Buzz Lightyear. It would not be a shock if one day on Mars, we hear someone shout and inquire, “Who are you wearing?”
