The analyst said that Tesla’s vehicle sales will rise 53% in 2022, 39% in 2023, and 15% in 2024 after an 87% jump in 2021. The primary driver of the anticipated revenue increase in 2022 and beyond is higher volumes from the startup of its new factories in Texas.
A quick calculation reveals that the Model Y will bring in $210 million for Tesla, 63 million dollars will come from Cybertruck and 135 million dollars from Tesla Semi. As a result, Giga Texas’ weekly gross income would be around $410 million. This is a good figure for a new plant that is starting.
Besides, an indispensable element in the production process at the Giga Texas factory is the employees. Tesla had previously mentioned 10,000 employees, but now Musk suggests that Giga Texas will directly employ as many as 20,000 people, doubling the minimum number of hires the company initially indicated.
It became known that as of currently, over 5,000 employees already work at Giga Texas. So, Tesla will spend about $72,000 million to pay 5000 employees in a quarter. Worldwide, Tesla now has over 100,000 employees.
The average annual pay for a Tesla Gigafactory in Austin is $58,054 a year. Just in case you need a simple salary calculator, that works out to be approximately $27.91 an hour. This is the equivalent of $1,116 per week or $4,837 per month.
Tesla is also very focused on recruiting talent to work at Giga Texas, especially those who have experience in using high-tech technologies for producing electric vehicles and batteries.
