A weird object could be seen streaking across the desert sky Thursday evening. It turns out there’s nothing extraterrestrial about it. The object was part of a SpaceX rocket launch. The Falcon 9 launch 53 Starlink satellites launched at about 6 p.m. Arizona time and was seen across the Valley sky.
