SpaceX’s CEO Elon Musk has a history of overly optimistic predictions about Starship’s schedule.
When Musk gave an update in September 2019, he predicted that the first orbital flight would occur within six months.
But with 2022 already here, SpaceX has yet to try an orbital launch of Starship.
Musk’s latest prediction is to get SpaceX’s massive Starship rocket into orbit for the first time in November in a launch he hopes will revolutionize the space industry.
However, November ended with overwhelming disappointment.
As SpaceX partner, NASA expects SpaceX to be ready to attempt Starship’s first orbital flight, an essential element in the agency’s Artemis lunar exploration plans as soon as early December.
Unfortunately, it is highly likely that NASA won’t get its wish!
Because SpaceX’s Starship may not launch this month!!!
Why’s that?
