SpaceX About To Launch Starship Super Heavy, Finally Declared By SpaceX & Elon Musk

After a new round of independent tests, repairs, and changes, SpaceX has finally finished assembling Starship 24 and Super Heavy Booster 7 for the third time in three months.

The completely stacked rocket, which is approximately 390 feet tall from ship tip to booster’s bottom, is once more the biggest ever built. Starship is a much bigger rocket than the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy ones that SpaceX currently uses.

Ship 24 and Booster 7 are more capable of supporting Starship’s initial orbital launch attempt than earlier prototypes Ship 20 and Booster 4, which were also fully stacked a few times in 2021 and early 2022 before being retired. They may only need a few significant tests after reaching their most recent full-stack milestone before receiving the go-ahead for takeoff.
