Elon Musk Just LAUNCHED An All-New Cybertruck In Texas That Will SHOCK Everyone!
The 2023 Tesla Cybertruck, which was unveiled more than three years ago and was advertised to be extremely capable, is finally set to begin deliveries by the end of this year. The highly anticipated Tesla vehicle distinguishes itself from the rest of the pickup truck crowd with a one-of-a-kind look. However, after the Cybertruck’s initial unveiling in 2019, competitors have begun to take big steps forward by producing electrified versions of their popular pickup trucks.
Furthermore, the Rivian R1T pickup and the electric metempsychosis of the renowned Hummer after a 12-year sabbatical have established new norms in the pickup truck industry. This led to an all-new Cybertruck that will shock everyone. And so what’s new with this new Cybertruck? Let’s find out!

As the first automaker to use die-cast components known as megacastings to replace substantial portions of the body of the vehicle, Tesla. Megacasting eliminates the requirement for countless labour hours and the countless metal components that must be joined by welding in the process of making a standard automobile.
The structural battery pack and the side body stamps are joined to the megacastings, which is a faster method of assembly because it uses largely adhesives. Megacastings were initially used in an automobile, the Tesla Model Y, and will likely be followed by the Cybertruck.
The megacastings appear simple, yet they are anything but. It takes enormous die-casting equipment known as Giga Presses to produce such large automotive body pieces. The industry innovator in this area and Tesla’s preferred supplier is an Italian business called IDRA.
The EV manufacturer has plants all over the world that produce the Model Y using dozens of 6,000-ton Giga Presses. Tesla claimed that larger equipment was required to produce the Cybertruck, which is why Giga Austin was given permission to order 9,000-ton Giga Presses.
We have previously reported that Tesla plans to install two 9,000-ton Giga Presses for the Cybertruck production. IDRA shipped the first one to Austin in October of last year. As evidenced by shipping documentation discovered by Greg (@greggertruck), the second one is currently being sent. We know Tesla has already sent the molds for the Giga Presses to Austin because Greg has already stumbled onto paperwork that looks very similar.
According to the records Greg examined, Tesla has this month received a number of the second IDRA 9,000-ton Giga Press’s components. More boxes of die-cast machinery parts were transported by IDRA to Gigafactory Texas, according to additional shipping documents, with the description on the bill of lading reading “Die-Casting Machine Parts.” It should take some time before the new Giga Press is placed on the Cybertruck production line, given that the shipment just landed in Houston’s port a week ago.
It took a few extra months to complete the first 9,000-ton machine than was anticipated. This was clarified by Greg on the Cybertruck Owners Club site, who claimed that Tesla had some problems with the foundation on the production floor. The second Giga Press should be installed much more quickly because this won’t be the case.
