The Boring Company creates fast-to-dig, low-cost transportation and freight tunnels. In April 2022, The Boring Company uploaded a picture of Prufrock II, the name given for their tunnel-digging robot, launching into the ground in Texas. This week Elon Musk hints that Prufrock II resurfaced recently. In the short term, if each Prufrock-2 mines at 1 mile per week, and the boring company produces 1 new tunneling machine per month, then it will be introducing 600 miles per year of capacity.
