Elon Musk Just SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED This To STOP Russia!
On the Soyuz rocket, the Russian satellite Cosmos 2542 was launched on November 26, 2019, into orbit. It then positioned itself in an orbit that covered the Earth’s surface for over three months at a distance of between 250 and 550 miles. While it first avoided American satellites, by mid-January it began to approach the 4-billion-dollar US spy satellite KH-11, which analysts refer to as the “KH-11,” and made an unexpected maneuver. And so, what is the reason for this unprecedented move? Let’s find out as the tech billionaire Elon Musk updates us all!

According to the commander of the US Space Force, John Raymond, this is all circumstantial evidence, but there are a lot of circumstances that make it look like a known Russian inspection satellite is currently inspecting a known US spy satellite. Cosmos 2542 remained close, and such a maneuver raised suspicions of alternative intentions by the Soviets, including a potential attack.
Less than two weeks after the launch of the Russian satellite Cosmos 2542 in November of 2019, Russian nesting dolls were visible. US watchers saw what appeared to be a second, smaller satellite that was born from the original satellite precisely like a Russian nesting doll, indicating that it appeared to have split in two. By clarifying that the experiment’s goal is to continue work on evaluating the technical state of domestic satellites in December, the Russian Defense Ministry officially verified the occurrence.
Cosmos 2542 and its offspring, Cosmos 2543, appear to be on a different mission because from January 20 to January 23, they unexpectedly maneuvered to match their orbit with the KH-11, an orbital telescope staring down at Earth that was part of a reconnaissance constellation codenamed keyhole or crystal and operated by the national reconnaissance office, or NRO. Cosmos 2542 would normally pass the USA-245 satellite, as it was known to trackers, every 11 days.
However, as the Russian satellite got close to it, there was a lot of suspense. More than half of the 2,200 active satellites in the globe orbit between 100 and 1,200 miles above the surface of the planet. It was evident that the USA-245 was the true goal of the cosmos. A Russian satellite following a multibillion-dollar US spy satellite might pose a rising threat to American space supremacy and possibly open a new, expensive chapter in the never-ending rivalry between Washington and Moscow.
The satellite was built on the foundation of a unified, versatile space platform, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, and it can keep an eye on the condition of domestic spacecraft in orbit. Surveying the surface of the Earth is feasible thanks to its optical equipment. Cosmos 2542 is a known inspection satellite with sensors and thrusters, but it has demonstrated the ability to maneuver close to other spacecraft and conduct scans. Many Americans continue to think that some inspection satellites are also weapons that could be used to harm or even destroy an enemy.
By synchronizing the orbits of the four satellites, the NRO maintains four KH-11s that can orbit as low as 160 miles and as high as 620 miles, offering simultaneous wide and narrow surveillance.
