Elon Musk’s SpaceX is developing a vehicle to take people and cargo to the moon and Mars.
When it comes online, Starship will be the biggest and most powerful space transportation system ever built.
And if all goes according to plan, this vehicle will operate like a gigantic flying Pez dispenser on some missions.
This sounds unrealistic but not impossible!
For now, Musk – the man who can make the impossible possible – is closer to that ambitious dream than ever with the newest Starship prototype, Ship 24!
But, why Ship 24?
What are the differences between Ship 24 and its predecessors?
And what does this change mean for future Starship missions?
All this and more in today’s episode of Great SpaceX!
SpaceX has just dragged its latest orbital launch prototype of Starship to the launch pad, as seen in footage shared by LabPadre — in an exciting new development bringing us closer to the massive spacecraft’s inaugural trip into space.
Notably, this is the first time the space company branded the prototype, dubbed Ship 24, with its logo and insignia, in what may be an early indication we’re likely to actually see it being launched.
Especially, by this time, the Starship prototype that was equipped with the newest major upgrades is Ship 24, typically its nosecone.
