Elon Musk Postpones Visit to India, Cites “Tesla Obligations”
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has postponed his visit to India where he was expected to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several startup founders. In a social media post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Musk said he had postponed his trip to India due to “very heavy Tesla obligations” and that he looked forward to visiting the country later this year. Reportedly, his trip would have included the announcement of plans for Tesla to enter the South Asian market. The electric vehicle (EV) maker is reportedly looking to explore new markets as it grapples with falling sales in the US and China.
