SpaceX is continuing to finish up pre-launch work on ship 24 as far as we can tell, keeping up its Breakneck Pace over here at the orbital launch Mount and on the groundside equipment at the launch site, and continuing to work on foundations for a new structure at the build site.Starting right here at the orbital launch site, SpaceX is working hard to install shielding and other equipment on the orbital launch Mount, which will protect it from the forces it will face during launch.
As a friendly reminder, according to Elon Musk, the b7’s Raptor engines will fire at 90% thrust during liftoff, which is nearly double the force the pad had to endure during the 31 engine static fire. As you can see here, only a couple shielding panels remain missing from the orbital launch Mount.
