Elon Musk’s Big Announcement on 2 Starship Tower Surging at Cape Shocked NASA
Alongside the hot developments of Starship Flight 4 at the “gateway to Mars”—Starbase, new updates about Starship flights in Florida have also caught us in awe.
Recently, Elon Musk personally revealed on behalf of SpaceX the solution to launch Starship in Florida. This will expand the footprint of Starship Monster, shocking all the surrounding companies and even including NASA.
Let’s find out on today’s episode of Alpha Tech:

Before heading to Florida, take a stroll around Starbase to feel the hurried, bustling atmosphere of the preparations for the next Starship flight.
Early on May 20th, SpaceX conducted the most critical wet dress rehearsal (WDR) test for the Starship rocket before it embarks on its historic flight.
We are certainly no strangers to this test, where the entire rocket testing process involves filling it up with propellant and going through a simulated countdown without igniting the engines. For Starship, this means loading all the tanks to flight levels with liquid methane and liquid oxygen.

Notably, two Starships were filled with thousands of gallons of fuel in less than an hour. Therefore, we can see that the test was conducted very quickly, arguably the fastest ever. This demonstrates a significant improvement in SpaceX’s standard launch procedures, aiming for a quick turnaround for each Starship launch.
