Elon Musk offered the public a sneak glimpse into Tesla’s future or its newest electric car, the Model 4. He said the vehicle’s fourth generation would be attainable to almost everyone. Meaning it would be at a low price. Musk said during a question-and-answer session that car prices would decrease due to scale economies and larger volume manufacturing lines. The Model 3 started at about $35,000 in price. This stands in sharp contrast to previous Tesla sedans, such as the model S, which started at around $70,000. Additionally, it would be among the world’s safest vehicles, according to Musk.
