California Gov. Gavin Newsom met with Elon Musk on Wednesday at the new Tesla engineering headquarters in Palo Alto. Tesla will be claiming the space that was previously occupied by Hewlett-Packard and plan to use the headquarters as a center for research and development of artificial intelligence. While there are multiple Tesla factories in California, Musk moved Tesla’s primary headquarters from Palo Alto to Austin, Texas in 2021.
