Now, Elon Musk recently talked about why he decided not to add stainless steel “dragon wings” to the Starship spacecraft. This decision happened five years after he first mentioned the idea on social media.
Back in April 2019, Musk posted on Twitter about the possibility of adding these large wings to Starship. This comment came right after the final season of Game of Thrones aired, which got people wondering if Musk was joking. However, Musk later explained that he was about 6.5 out of 10 serious about the idea and believed that it could work based on physics.
