Well, well, all indications suggest–maybe this week.
The closest thing to a tentative date from Elon Musk was a tweet that stated:
‘’Was just informed that approval to launch should happen in time for a Friday launch’’
This seems 90% certain that Starship will fly as SpaceX plans.
Other clues like “space launch activities” also closure for November 17th OR November 18th or 19th from 00:00 to 14:00. This means SpaceX has up to 14 hours each day.
Maybe the strongest indication of an impending launch was an email to press and photographers to apply for remote camera setup on Thursday 11-16-23. Should they not launch until the 22nd, they can not launch from the 23rd to the 26th. As detailed by the Final PEA summary.
But even this has to be taken with a grain of salt because of still pending regulatory approvals by the Federal Aviation and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Administrations.
