Just Happened! SpaceX B12 Ready for 33 Engines Firing, Elon Musk Reacted. Ariane 6 Launch FAILED…
The anticipation is intense! After weeks of quiet preparation, the buzz around Flight 5 has surged with the movement of B12. Exciting developments lie ahead.
Meanwhile, Europe recently celebrated a comeback with the maiden mission of Ariane 6. However, incidents remind us that Europe still has challenges to overcome.
Are you ready? Let’s dive in!
Since S30 completed its static fire test and returned to High Bay in early May, there has been no movement with Flight 5’s hardware—until now. It’s time for action again.

S30’s companion, B12, has recently shown some activity. This was anticipated when, on July 7, the Booster transport stand was moved to Mega Bay. That same day, a road closure schedule was announced, with closures set from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m. and 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on July 9.
As planned, around 3:00 a.m. on July 9, B12 was lifted onto the transport stand. A few hours later, it was transported to the Launch Site and secured by the Chopstick, ready for lifting. At the time of this update, B12 remained on the transport stand.
Excitement is building, as SpaceX has scheduled road closures from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 9, 10, and 11. With this timeline, B12 will likely undergo a static fire test soon, possibly with all 33 engines igniting. I predict the test will take place on the 11th to allow more preparation time.

This move has garnered significant attention. SpaceX posted two tweets highlighting the event. The first tweet featured images of B12’s roll with the message: “Flight 5 Super Heavy booster moved to the pad at Starbase.” The second tweet showed B12 against the Starfactory backdrop, captioned: “The booster passed the nearly complete Starfactory on its way to the pad.” These updates underscore the Starship project’s progress in production, testing, and launch.
Elon Musk also chimed in, reposting SpaceX’s tweet with the assertion: “Get ready for Flight 5.”
