The 2024 Tesla Model 3 made its debut in Europe this week, revealing a face-lifted facade with a sophisticated front end, a technologically advanced cabin, improved squinter headlights and a smooth front bumper.
Initially code-named “Project Highland,” the new-and-improved Model 3 manages to appear much sleeker than its ancestors, with simple lines dividing the vehicle’s external components for a more unified finish. The rear end is much less fussy, with slim taillights, a new rear bumper and Tesla lettering replacing the brand’s logo on the trunk. Notably, the taillights are situated on the car’s trunk lid, meaning the European-style fog lamps can also act as lamp assemblies.
The 2024 Model 3 employs more efficient 18-inch and 19-inch wheels. Additionally, the car is available in two new colorways: Ultra Red and Stealth Grey.
On the inside, the former dashboard’s woodgrain strip is replaced with contrasting trim, just above the vents. Ambient lighting complements the updated dashboard, which houses a 15.4-inch display with thinner bezels, higher brightness and stronger contrast. Two smartphone charging pads are embedded in the center console, and the previous 14-speaker sound system has been upgraded to include 17 speakers. Additionally, an eight-inch touchscreen has been attached to the center console for rear passengers to control the car’s climate and entertainment systems.
