It’s time for Elon Musk to leave as CEO of Tesla and shift his focus to xAI. Tesla is already on the path to greater than 10X growth with full self driving (FSD) robotaxis and Optimus humanoid robots. xAI is a better place for Elon to develop artificial general intelligence (AGI). As a public company, Tesla is not the right vehicle for Elon to fully control the development of AGI.
Elon would stay as Tesla’s largest shareholder and continue to work on product engineering, but let Drew Baglino run the company as CEO. xAI would cooperate with Tesla and Elon’s other companies, benefiting both.
Tesla stock would fall on the initial announcement, creating a massive buying opportunity.
