SpaceX’s Starship Booster Ends With Explosion: “NOT GOOD!”

In 2002, Elon Musk founded SpaceX, a well-known aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company. Musk took charge as the CEO and Chief Engineer of the company and is always striving to take it to new heights of success and glory. The company is known for its International Space Station missions. The company sends satellites and people to space, including NASA crews to the International Space Station (ISS).
Although Musk has not taken any formal training in rocketry, he keeps an eye on the new and emerging market trends. Elon Musk is also producing and testing a Starship system for lunar landings. He wishes to have such a contemporary and hi-tech mechanism to take the crew safely to Mars. SpaceX achieved its first success in 2010 when it evolved as the first private company to launch a payload into orbit and return it to Earth unharmed.
At that time, only government agencies like NASA or Russia’s Roscosmos had done such remarkable and successful missions before. The Payload’s upright landing and retrieval of the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket on Dec. 21 2015, was another outstanding achievement. Blue Origin, owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, shipped a rocket to the edge of space and landed it upright this year, but it was just a demonstration flight.
Now let me introduce The Starship. The Starship comprises of two parts: a large, bullet-shaped spacecraft that’s designed to accommodate dozens of people or big satellites, which sits atop and a lofty rocket booster that’s manufactured to ferry the spacecraft to orbit. Musk has described Starship as the linchpin for SpaceX’s declared goal of taking the first humans to Mars. The system is the keystone of CEO Elon Musk and founder Elon Musk’s plan to build an independent settlement on Mars.
Musk has appreciated and feted the vehicle for years and lauded the mechanism and efficiency of the engine. He informed the general public and media quite often about SpaceX’s plans and how they will execute their missions flawlessly in different time zones. Last year, SpaceX also won a $3 billion NASA contract to use Starship for the space agency’s plans to return astronauts to the surface of the moon for the first time in five decades. This remarkable achievement was another feather on their already filled cap.
SpaceX was testing a prototype of its Super Heavy rocket booster in Boca Chicca, Texas on Monday. It is a booster rocket created by Elon Musk’s SpaceX for its next-generation Starship spacecraft that exploded into flames during a ground-test firing on Monday in Texas.
The booster engines seemed to emit flames, and then a deafening explosion sounded, jostling cameras and technical apparatus. The explosion was followed by a significant amount of fire on the outskirts of the giant booster rocket; flames and smoke kept on wafting from the launch pad after the incident, but the situation at the test site didn’t appear to be deteriorating. Millions of eyes were fixed on the TV screens to see the unfortunate act.
