Starship Flight 3 Fully Stacked! SpaceX set Closure for Final Test, Astra Bankrupt imminent…
Unbelievable, isn’t it? Everything is progressing incredibly fast. Flight 3 has yet to launch, and Flight 4 is already ready to go. SpaceX is achieving something unprecedented!
Meanwhile, Astra is on the verge of bankruptcy.
Let’s delve into all of this and more in today’s episode of Great SpaceX!
Rolled to the launch pad on February 29, S28 was expected to be stacked on Booster B10 soon. However, this work was slightly delayed due to issues with Chopstick yesterday.
Fortunately, everything has been resolved. On the morning of March 1, around 10:06 CST, S28 was lifted by Chopstick and neatly stacked on top of its companion. The stacking process proceeded as usual, lasting about 2 hours. During this time, Ship QD was also swung towards the prototype to prepare for subsequent work. By early afternoon, a crew was lifted to make some adjustments, possibly with the connection system between the QD arm and Ship. The work was carried out quite swiftly, and by about 4:10 p.m., the Ship QD door opened, moved closer, and finally connected and engaged with S28. Ship QD then performed various operations such as retraction tests, quick disconnects, reengagement, and more. Throughout these processes, workers were still raised to support the systems.
