May 1 — Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe climbed into a cherry-red Model S Tesla with Elon Musk at the wheel and the two drove out of the parking lot at Tesla Motors Inc. in Palo Alto, California, on Thursday. Abe’s stop at Silicon Valley royalty was part of a week-long trip to the U.S.
