Thanks to that, the defense contractor has become one of the most reliable launch service providers in the world. The reliability has made ULA the go-to choice for critical national security and scientific missions.

However, the glory and monopoly position of the leading US satellite launch service provider is gradually fading. The emergence of young private launch companies with innovations changed everything.
