Preparations are ramping up. At Starbase right now, it’s a picture of the beauty of the tireless efforts of SpaceX’s workers and engineers.
Upgrades are continuously taking place on the launch tower and launch pad. This shows the importance of increasing redundancy and reducing the time needed for refurbishment between launches.
More importantly, SpaceX is focusing on these new designs especially to prepare for the Booster recovery process.

For the Orbital Launch Mount (OLM), maintenance has been done where SpaceX raised the back of the Quick Disconnect (QD) to replace the methane pipes and clamps. The fire suppression system was then tested to ensure its effectiveness.
And notably, the Chopsticks—the complex mechanism responsible for catching the Booster with Mechazilla’s arms—have undergone an impressive series of tests from April 24th to April 30th.
